Steak Tartare is a fantastic appetizer and packed with protein. I love serving it at dinner parties since it is so easy to make and looks so inviting.

Ingredients:
- 1 New York Steak
- 1 raw egg yolk
- 2 tablespoons red onion
- 1 tablespoon parsley
- 1 tablespoon shallots
- 3/4th tablespoon drained capers
- 1-2 splashes Worcestershire
- 2-3 splashes Tabasco
- 1 teaspoon Soy Sauce
- Olive oil
Cooking Instructions:
Begin by trimming the fat off the steak and then mince. Grab a medium size mixing bowl and add the minced meat. Then mince the red onions, parsley, shallots, and add them to the mixing bowl. Add the capers, Worcestershire, Tabasco, and soy sauce. Finally, drizzle a little olive oil and mix the contents.
For presentation, I generally take the mixture and pack it into a measuring cup. Grab a plate or cutting board, flip the measuring cup over and give it a little smack on the cutting board. Lift the measuring cup and take a small spoon to make an indent in the top of the steak tartare.
Here is the fun part. Add the egg yolk, set a few crackers on the side, and serve.
